SINTERED CARBIDE
FIN Sp. z o.o. offers sintered carbide grades suitable for machining aluminium alloys, non-ferrous metals, titanium alloys, Inconel, austenitic stainless steel, composites, glass-fibre reinforced plastics, grey cast iron as well as heat-resistant steel.
In our offer, there are three grades of sintered carbide: FWS06AK, FWS20SN, FWS25IT which differ in chemical composition, grain size, hardness, density and transverse rupture strength.
FWS06AK - the carbide grade characterized by excellent mechanical resistance as well as high abrasion resistance, it ensures a long lifetime of sharp edges. Recommended for machining aluminium alloys, composites and non-ferrous metals. This carbide grade is especially suited for diamond coating.
FWS20SN - high wear resistance and hardness make this grade ideal for the production of rotary tools used in hardened parts. Very good mechanical stability and high toughness ensure steady operation in roughing and finishing. This grade has a wide range of applications in glass-fibre reinforced plastics, grey cast iron, stainless steel as well as heat-resistant steel and titanium alloys.
FWS25IT - due to optimal hardness and high level of toughness, this grade is distinguished by high resistance of the mechanical wear of the cutting edges. Recommended for the production of rotary tools used in titanium alloys, Inconel and austenitic stainless steel.
Our specialists provide professional technical assistance in selecting the appropriate carbide grade.
